Ingredient

Main course

1 ks

Young jackfruit (Jacky F)

1 ks

Nori seaweed sheets

1 ks

Cup of sushi rice

1 lžíce

Soy sauce

1 ks

Ripe avocado

1 ks

Oil for frying

Process

Cook the rice

1. Cook the sushi rice as the package says. 2. Cook it first so it can cool down a bit before rolling.

Cook the jackfruit

1. Heat oil in a pan. 2. Shred the jackfruit with your hands or a fork. It should look like pulled meat. 3. Rinse it well. Squeeze out the water. 4. Add soy sauce. 5. Fry for about 10 minutes until it starts to brown.

Get ready to roll

1. Get your sushi tools ready. 2. Cover the rolling mat with plastic wrap so nothing sticks. 3. Put a nori sheet on the mat, rough side up. 4. Put a small bowl of water next to the mat. 5. Cut ½ avocado into thin strips.

Roll the sushi

1. Spread rice over the nori. Leave about 2 cm empty at the far edge. 2. Wet your fingers in the water so the rice doesn't stick. 3. Lay a row of avocado on the rice. Add the jackfruit on top. 4. Roll it up tightly with the mat. 5. Let it rest for a few minutes. Make the other rolls the same way.

Serve

1. Dip a sharp knife in water. 2. Cut each roll into pieces. 3. Serve right away with soy sauce.
